GENERAL STAFF POSITIONS

Program Area Directors oversee one of the camp’s specialized program areas. Responsibilities include developing daily lesson plans and activities and ensuring campers have an exceptional, rewarding, and safe experience.  We look for people who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the program area they want to lead. Some of the positions require specialized training and licenses, such as the Pool Director, Archery Directory, Climbing Wall & Zip Line Director, and Low Ropes Director. Program Area Directors also serve as a counselor or head counselor, and will have cabin responsibilities.

Camp Counselors serve as the primary caregivers for campers and are responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out camp activities as well as guiding campers in their personal growth and skill development. Responsibilities include supervising campers, overseeing cabin groups and living areas, maintaining a safe and clean camp environment, and setting a positive example as a youth development professional. You will need to be selfless, enthusiastic, patient, and caring. Counselors also work in programs areas, often serving as Assistant Program Area Directors. Some of the positions require specialized training and licenses, such as the Assistant Archery Directory, Assistant Climbing Wall & Zip Line Director, Assistant Low Ropes Director, and Lifeguards.

Support Staff oversee the camp’s food service, healthcare, and office operations. Positions include Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Camp Nurse, and Office Administrative Assistant. Some of the positions require specialized training and/or licenses.
