Programs
Program areas and instructional lessons are under the
direct supervision of a trained program coordinator responsible to the
Assistant and Director of Programs. Program staff members prepare detailed
lesson plans prior to camper arrival to ensure a careful balance between
fun and learning. Each Sunday, campers choose their Core Programs for the
week, and select electives daily that feature more than 50 different
programs illustrating the many talents and skills of the diverse
staff.

Aquatics:
Instructional courses range from beginner to basic water safety levels with
emphasis upon swimming techniques, water safety, and individual comfort.
All lessons are taught by certified aquatics instructors within the Olympic
size pool.
Archery:
Campers spend the week on the range learning and improving skills with the
bow and arrow. Supervision is provided by certified staff who provide
instruction, guidance and required equipment.
Creative Arts: The arts program includes three (3) separate areas of cultural
learning; arts and crafts, music, dramatics and dance. Campers can choose
to spend the week working on one project or may decide to explore a variety
of different areas.

Horsemanship:
The horse program carefully combines instructional riding courses with
lessons in animal care. Campers electing to participate are directly
involved in feeding, grooming and basic responsibility while under the
supervision of the Certified Director. Beginner and intermediate classes
will be offered; campers will be placed according to their ability. One (1)
inch heel required. Minimum age ten (10).
Sports: Traditional sporting contests have been combined with
innovative cooperative games to give a new meaning to recreational fun.
Campers find that competition is never as important as participation and
the lessons learned through team play.
Outdoor Education: Utilizing both the Nature Center and the
extensive habitat trail system, the outdoor education program utilized
national curricula for the development of natural awareness and an
understanding of our precious environment.
Outdoor Adventure: Available to campers age 11 and above, the
ropes course features a series of low element exercises on Adventure Hill
geared toward fostering leadership skills and increasing the individual's
potential.
Hiking:
With over 88 acres to explore, hiking remains a popular core program.
Hiking is an excellent form of exercise and it gives campers a chance to
escape the hot sun for a cool walk in the woods.

Outpost
Camping: will be offered again this year. One (1) girl's session during
week four (4) and one (1) boy's session during week three (3). This is an
optional program where some of the campers live in the woods in tents. All
other aspects of camp will be the same; it's the "Tent"
experience that makes it special.
